Five years after their first concert Parvarim Refugeez are proud to present its debut album "Rapperrarium". The album is a DIY project of the band. It has been recorded, produced, designed, written and composed solely by the band members. Rapperrarium tells the band versio for what they call Parvarim (Suburbs), their own unique attitude toward Hip Hop. "We started out five years ago", they tell, "a bunch of high school friends from our hometown Maccabim Reut. Doing Hip Hop was a risky business, for none of us had much experience with the genre, but we all loved it". Although Hip Hop was the method, Punk was the attitude. The result was Gangsta Punk, a unique Parvarim sound.

The lyrics of the band always dealt with Gangsta thug life. The band has tells a satiric tale of the Parvarim, a tale in which everyone are gang members, crack dealers, low life, and etc. They rap about a ghetto of social hazard in which you need to struggle daily for survival. That combined with the Punk attitude has created the Parvarim Refugeez unique sound – Its aggressive Chutzpa meeting Hip Hop, the power meets the basses, RAPPERRARIUM!

"Parvarim Refugeez has always been a home from which I evolved to other directions", tells the band's producer and MC Gad Baruch / MacDaddy G. "The album is the best of us – it is a combination of the diverse attitudes the ten members have brought in the creation process". For a long year Gad Baruch has hosted the band members in its small apartment. "We tried to make it as powerful as possible, without even trying to kiss up to anyone. We did not compromise and the result is superb and we love it".

For the past seven years Parvarim Refugeez has constantly performed with the local Israeli Punk Rock scene. The band has produced and been part of Punk Rock and Metal concerts all across Israel. It also found a home within the Rave culture scene of Tel Aviv, which invited them constantly to grab the mics and rap at raves.
